2026 Skin Contest Event Production Guide and Precautions Info

We'd like to inform you of the participation guide and important notes for the '2026 Skin Contest' event starting 5/22 (Fri).

■ Common Skin Production Guide

???? Submission Requirements

1) Final Submission According to the Guidelines

• Please attach the final submission as an image in the "Submission Description" field.

• The attached image should only include the created design without any additional comments.

• All sides of the guide (Front, Back, Left, and Right) must be designed. If any sides are missing, the submission will be excluded from evaluation.

• The following final submission file format must be followed. Failure to comply will result in exclusion from evaluation.

• The working size of the provided guide is 4800x2592px. Please create your design at this size; however, when submitting on the website, image files should be extracted and submitted at 1280x800px.

(※ This is the recommended size for resolution optimization when displayed on the voting page.)

• Finalists must submit the 4800x2592px original file (PSD files only), so please make sure to retain the original file for future production and review.

Detailed information regarding additional material submission for finalists will be announced on the page when the finalist voting period begins.

3) Submission Description (Production Comments)

• Please insert the image file of your final submission and explain the concept and production intent related to your entry.

• The description can be up to 5,000 characters including spaces. However, please note that special characters included in the description may not be displayed correctly.

4) Early/Mid/Late Sketch Images to Verify Production Process

• A ZIP file containing at least 3 compressed early/mid/late sketch images to verify the production process (for internal review)

• If verifiable files are missing, the submission may be excluded from review, and if verification is deemed insufficient, additional documentation may be requested.

• Failure to respond to requests for additional documentation to verify the production process within the given timeframe may result in exclusion from review.

• The working size of the provided guide is 4800x2592px. Please create your design at this size; however, when submitting on the website, image files should be extracted and submitted at 1280x800px.

Additionally, please make sure to retain the 4800x2592px original file (PSD files only) for future production and review.

• Duplicate entries for both Descendant & Vehicle categories are allowed; however, only 1 entry per person may advance to the finals.

• Modifications after final submission are not possible. Individual inquiries about modifications after final submission will not be answered.

• Submissions will be disqualified from evaluation if the final submission image is not inserted in the Submission Description field.

• Any submissions beyond the required materials will not be included in the evaluation.

• If any of the required submissions are missing, the submission may be excluded from consideration.

• For finalist entries, the "original" file of the submission (PSD files only) must be submitted together to verify the entire production process. Failure to agree to this will result in exclusion from the final selected works.

• For the protection of personal information, please ensure that submissions do not contain unnecessary personal information. If submissions containing unnecessary personal information are identified, they will be immediately destroyed and may be excluded from evaluation.

• If the guide's avatars are arbitrarily deleted or moved, the submission will be excluded from evaluation. Please create your design in accordance with the form of the guide.

• The grand prize winning submission may be expressed differently from the submitted design during actual in-game implementation due to technical limitations or optimization reasons.

• Individual inquiries regarding the judging process and results will not be answered.

• Entries deemed similar to content planned for future in-game launches or currently in internal planning and development may be excluded from advancing to the finals.

???? Non-implementable Content

• The First Descendant's Common Skin structures, please note that designs where Head and Body Skin are connected are not possible, so please consider this during creation.

• Designs that change character joint positions cannot be implemented. Please consider this during creation.

■ Vehicle Skin Creation Guide

- Please attach the final submission as an image in the body of the "Submission Description" field.

- The attached image should only include the created design without any additional comments.

the submission will be excluded from evaluation.

- The following final submission file format must be followed. Failure to comply will result in exclusion from evaluation.

- The working size of the provided guide is 4800x2592px.

*Based on the yellow mesh, please align the handlebar position, height, and the height of the saddle and footrests. (An important point is to design the character's riding position (especially around the pelvis) and the footrest positions to match the guide.)

**The guide image is for reference regarding character positioning. When submitting your entry, please make sure to also include the rear design of the Bike itself.

■ Contest Event Precautions

• This contest is only open to accounts that have The First Descendant Gameplay records.

• Submitted works must be original creations by the participant.

• Entries that use AI technology, including generative AI, in part or in whole of the creation process will be disqualified. If AI usage is suspected, submission of documentation related to the production process may be requested, and refusal or failure to submit within the given timeframe will result in exclusion from evaluation and winning selections.

• Entries that plagiarize or closely imitate others' images, photos, logos, content elements, etc. will be disqualified.

• Entries containing content that may cause social controversy such as sexual content, violence, discrimination, or political elements will be disqualified.

• Commercialized content, winners from other competitions, or retouched existing skins cannot be submitted.

• If fraudulent activities such as multiple account submissions, use of automation tools, or manipulation of votes are identified, all submissions will be disqualified.

• If the number of entries or the number of entries meeting the judging criteria is limited, the number of finalists per category (Descendant & Vehicle) and the number of winners may be adjusted accordingly.

• If no entries in a given category meet the minimum criteria to advance to the finals, no finalists may be selected for that category.

???? Work Submission Guidelines

• Only one design can be uploaded per post.

• Up to one submission per category may be submitted (maximum 2 entries total).

• However, even if entries are submitted for all categories, only one work per person will be selected for the finals.

• For each category entered, the official production guide and template must be used. Please download the official template and refer to the production guide.

• Submissions may be disqualified if they do not use the official template or arbitrarily modify the character's body type.

• When submitting an entry, files must be submitted that demonstrate the creation process along with the required submission items, and must include at least one of the following items.

- Production process verification materials ZIP (production process images showing sketch → work-in-progress → final piece (minimum 3 images))

※ If required submission items are missing, the entry may be excluded from evaluation, and additional documentation may be requested if the evidence is deemed insufficient.

• After final submission of work or after the contest deadline, work cannot be modified or deleted, so all submissions must be the final version.

• Applicants selected as finalists must submit the original PSD files of their work to verify the entire production process. Failure to comply may result in disqualification from final selection.

???? Intellectual Property Rights and Legal Responsibilities

• Nexon may use the winning entries for purposes specified in this notice (including in-game item creation and sales, exposure on official channels, offline events, editing and creation of derivative works), and winners shall not assert moral rights or similar claims.

• Grand prize winners may be required to sign a separate intellectual property rights transfer agreement, and failure to comply may result in disqualification.

• No separate usage fees will be paid for the intellectual property rights of winning entries prize money or rewards awarded for winning will serve as compensation.

• Participants may not use third-party copyrighted works for contest submissions. Violations may result in disqualification from winning entries.

• Participants (and winners) guarantee that their submissions (and winning entries) do not infringe upon any third party's intellectual property rights or other rights. If violations are identified or disputes arise with third parties, participants must resolve these issues under their own responsibility, and Nexon shall be indemnified.

???? Personal Data Collection & Usage Agreement

• Nexon collects and uses minimal personal information (game account name, email address, etc.) solely for the purpose of operating the contest, including entry submissions, winner announcements, awards, and content usage contract executions.

The collected personal information will not be used for any purpose other than contest operations, and will be safely disposed of without delay after the related tasks are completed and processing purposes are achieved.

• When submitting, the production process documentation must not contain any personal information such as identifying portraits or other personal identifiers.

• The finalists' game account names will be publicly displayed on the official website from the start of voting.

• Winners will be contacted individually via the email used when submitting their original PSD files. Failure to respond within the specified period may result in cancellation of the award.

• When paying contest prize money and physical prizes to winners, personal information such as name, country, passport number, and passport copy may be requested, and the information requested may vary by country.

Entries may be disqualified from final selection and prize distribution if inaccurate information is provided or if mandatory procedures such as consent to personal information collection and use, and copyright transfer agreements are not agreed upon within the specified period after winner announcement.

???? Miscellaneous Info

• The actual amount of cash prizes may vary depending on the exchange rate at the time of payment and the winner's place of residence.

• The tax rate for event prize money paid in cash or in-game currency may vary depending on the winner's place of residence, and such taxes will be covered by Nexon.

• The contest schedule, prizes, and number of winners may be subject to change depending on operational circumstances, and any changes will be announced through separate notices.

• If the quality and content of submissions are deemed to fall short of award-winning criteria, no winners may be chosen.

• The grand prize winning submission may be expressed differently from the submitted design during actual in-game implementation due to technical limitations or optimization reasons.

• Individual inquiries regarding the judging process and results will not be answered.

• During the submission period, only the original submitter may view submitted entries. Entries from other participants will only be made public during the finals voting period if they have advanced to the finals.
