Large-scale rebalancing, saves, achievements!
We're trying to read your feedback and fix what we can quickly and efficiently (and it's not easy – remember, we're cats, we have paws). We're releasing the first major quick fix.Balance After the demo, Mota decided to recalculate the cost of all the upgrades in the game to make it feel cozy, relaxing, and stress-free. The first thing that came to mind was, of course, Ghibli cartoons, so he Googled "Miyazaki game balance" and followed the advice in the guide he found. So, at the release, many were shocked by the first-ever hybrid of a relaxing cleaning simulator and Dark Souls. Mota got a slap on the wrist, and Kota, inspired by beer, created new, much more appealing price tags in Jenny's shop. Furthermore, whole maps, and especially scraps, have become more common in trash heaps!Saves Many people complained about saves working sloppily. We conducted a thorough investigation, which confirmed these concerns, and have focused all our efforts on fixing this chilling issue. Now, the interface will most likely no longer crash when trying to save or load. But even more importantly, autosaves now work not only when exiting the game, but also whenever a new trash heap is opened. So even if something goes wrong after all our fixes, the poor player won't lose all their progress, just a small portion of it.Unfortunately, we can't help those players who suffered and lost their progress due to the game crash due to our clumsiness. We're so, so sorry this happened. Your sacrifice wasn't in vain – you helped identify and fix the problem, saving thousands of other players from the same fate! The upgrade and money progress that was reset after the demo was a planned action related to in-game changes. But we managed to preserve the most important progress – card collection!Achievements Some achievements were broken at the game's launch. For example, many complained that they didn't receive the achievement for collecting the entire white set after completing it. Not to mention that everyone who logged into the game for the first time was surprised to receive the achievement for all upgrades (because some players had tied the stat to money, requiring only 49 bucks to get it, compared to the starting 150). We've fixed these and many other achievements. Other Stuff Now, if you (for some reason) decide to throw a valuable item like a collectible figurine into the trash grinder, you can pick it up again instead of restarting the game and hoping it will respawn. We've also tried to fix the bug where the bag would disappear from your hands (but we're not certain). We're continuing to fine-tune the game so you'll enjoy it!
