Indie Games Room at AVCon 2026
AVCon is Adelaide’s celebration of anime, gaming, and pop culture. Since 2002, our community-driven Festival has brought fans, creators, and industry together for a weekend full of fun, creativity, and connection. More and more gamers, creators, fans and community have been attracted to South Australia on 4-5 July as a destination for AVCon, and now we are excited to bring all that energy to Steam!The Indie Games Room at AVCon gives independent game developers a space to showcase their work, playtest with real audiences, and connect directly with the AVCon community. We can now boost the signal on Steam for all these great games.In 2026, we are continuing that tradition with teams and projects of all sizes and stages of development. You can discover polished releases, early prototypes, student projects and first public builds from developers in Adelaide and across Australia. Our Steam event also includes some titles from previous years that are the backbone of the IGR/AVCon back catalogue.The Indie Games Room is community-driven and inclusive. It gives developers practical exposure, meaningful feedback, and the chance to grow their games in front of an engaged audience. Now that audience includes all of Steam!
