Major Update: Complete Tech System Overhaul
The new Tech system completely changes the old progression pace, officially shifting from level-based unlocks to exploration-driven growth. Every trip out into the world can now lead to discoveries that truly matter!
1. Tech Tree and Unlock Methods Updated
The Tech tree has been rebuilt around four core branches: Survival, Production, Combat, and Building. Characters now start with basic Tech unlocked by default, and future unlocks are no longer limited by scenario phase or character level. You can obtain new Tech in the following three ways:
l Reverse Engineering: Collect facilities and items marked as "cultural artifacts" in the wilderness, then bring them back to the Synthesis Bench for reverse engineering. This can directly unlock crafting abilities or grant Tech Points, making progress much more efficient!
l Tech Invention: Combine materials at the Synthesis Bench to conduct invention experiments. A successful attempt gives you both the formula and the finished item. Even if it fails, part of the materials will be returned.
l Tech Point Allocation: Spend Tech Points to manually unlock the Tech you want. Tech Points can be earned by leveling up, repeating research, defeating Elite enemies, and more. (To reduce grinding, Tech Points can no longer be obtained from exploring Mystical Crates.)
2. Specialization System Removed and Facility Enhancements Upgraded
The original Tech Specialization system has been completely removed! Its effects have now been fully integrated into Tech tree nodes, Tech enhancements, wilderness exploration, and the new facility enhancements
To help you gain full crafting capability earlier, we have removed some mid-tier crafting facilities, including the Intermediate Supplies Workbench, Intermediate Weapon Bench, Small Synthesis Bench, and Intermediate Stove. Their formulas have been merged into advanced facilities, and the unlock nodes for those advanced facilities have been moved earlier. At the same time, we have significantly upgraded the current facility enhancements:
l Enhanced Electric Furnace: Sulfur Chemist, Petroleum Process, and Art of Stardust Decay will now be unlocked here.
l Custom Disassembly Bench: Combines all disassembly enhancement effects.
l Stardust Fusion Stove: Combines cooking-related enhancement effects, including Enhanced King of Cuisine and Permanent Save.
l Enhanced Supplies Workbench: All effects have been further improved, and crafting time has been greatly reduced.
l Power Generation Facilities: Increases to the facility limit are back and can now be unlocked through Tech level and enhancements.
*Note: Some overly niche or balance-breaking specialization formulas have been removed. Any specialization bonus facilities you have already built will remain.
3. New Tech Enhancement System
Raising your Tech level grants enhancement points, which can be used to enhance specific Tech and unlock extra effects. Enhancement results are fixed and cannot be reset, but enhancement effects can be traded, encouraging Metas to exchange what they have with each other.
Building and Facility Optimizations
l Load and body type mechanics clarified: Default Load has been adjusted to 100. Body type now affects characters as follows:
n Heavy Build: Load bonus +10, Movement Speed -5%
n Normal Build: No change
n Light Build: Load bonus -10, Movement Speed +5%
Combat and Gear Optimizations
l No level requirement for gear: Gear is no longer restricted by character level. More high-quality lost gear will now appear in the wilderness, bringing more surprises during exploration. Your starting weapon has also been changed to the Rustic Crossbow.
l Eternaland gear import rules adjusted: To make sure every Meta starts each scenario from a relatively fair position, gear brought in from Eternaland will now be automatically marked as "lost gear." It cannot be repaired, reverse engineered, or traded. The "All-Purpose Hand" will also be unable to repair lost gear inside a scenario.
l Gear crafting simplified: Gear can now be crafted directly from materials, with no need for prefabricated components. New dedicated materials have also been added, such as Wood Weapon Body and Armor Lining.
l Ammunition types simplified and output increased: Rifles, submachine guns, and light machine guns now all use medium-caliber ammunition. Advanced ammo formulas have been adjusted, and output has been greatly increased! To keep damage balanced, the HP of high-level enemies has also been slightly reduced. A new drink that boosts weapon damage has been added as well.
l Tactical items reworked: Repeated item types have been streamlined, and the low, medium, and high tier split has been removed. Crafting formulas have also been adjusted.
l Vehicle adjustments: Vehicle repair costs have been adjusted.
Wilderness Exploration and Gathering Optimizations
l Ore streamlined: Tin ore and aluminum ore will no longer spawn in the wilderness. Two new metal ingots have been added and can be obtained by processing iron. The Deviation "The Digby Boy" will no longer collect tin ore. Tin and aluminum ore have also been removed from the outputs of the Mining Platform and Digger Biomechanical, and the output efficiency of other ores has been adjusted.
l Tool adjustments: The number of gathering tool types has been reduced, tool gathering range has been adjusted, and the efficiency of high-tier tools when mining iron ore has been greatly improved.
l Material unification: All tiered materials have been merged into a single tier.
n Five types of fabrics including Shabby/Cotton/Carbon Fiber have been unified as Fabric.
n Five types of parts including Rusted/Standard/Refined have been unified as Parts.
n Five types of plastics such as Scrap/General/Fireproof have been unified as Plastic.
l Scrap cleanup: The amount of useless scrap has been greatly reduced. All useless scrap is now standardized as Normal rarity and can be selected instantly for one-click disassembly at the Disassembly Bench.
n New interactive scrap items: Footballs can be thrown to stun enemies, books can be read to gain Tech Points, and rescue bots can help recover the items you drop when you die!
n The rewards and redeemable content of Deviations "Paper Doll," "H37," and "Wish Box" have been updated to match the new item categories.
l Seed drop rate reduced: Wild seed drops have been lowered while still covering daily planting needs, helping free up backpack space.
l Legacy item conversion: Legacy items will be marked automatically, and Metas can convert them into their corresponding new items at any time.
l The Durability of the Gazocchio has been reduced.
l While riding a bicycle, Energy and Hydration will now be consumed faster by default. Early-game tasks have also been adjusted to match the Tech tree changes.
l Polluted Water output in Pollution Zones has been greatly increased.
l Sea Rabbits now drop a new item, Neurotoxin, which can be used to craft tranquilizer needles.
Stardust Secret Crate Rewards

With the Battle Pass S12 update, Metas can now enjoy the new reward system, the Stardust Secret Crate. It includes a wide range of rare cosmetics and valuable item rewards, including:
- New Deviation skins, with a chance to obtain Legendary Deviation skins!

- More than 50 cosmetic items for full personalization!

- Rare token rewards such as Lightforge Ingots, Lightforge Relics, Silver Keys, and Colorful Badges can also drop at random. See if luck is on your side!
- Rare Stardust Secret Crates can also drop practical rewards such as Starchrom, Mod Dust, and rare items!
*Rare Stardust Secret Crates can only be obtained through active play, and cannot be purchased in larger amounts. Higher-rarity Stardust Secret Crates do not drop any items related to supplies or stat progression.
Stardust Secret Crate Rules and Drop Rates
Stardust Secret Crates are updated alongside each Battle Pass. The current one is Stardust Secret Crate S12.
Each season's Stardust Secret Crate includes its own limited items, which can only drop from that season's crate. Retired crates may return from time to time, giving Metas another chance to obtain them.
Stardust Secret Crates are divided into four rarities: Rare, Epic, Legendary, and Mythic. Rare, Epic, and Legendary crates each have 3 upgrade chances when opened, and may upgrade into a higher-rarity crate with even rarer rewards!
*You can skip the upgrade animation. The upgrade result will still be processed normally.
Different crate rarities have different drop pools. Items and currencies related to supplies or stat progression only drop from Rare Stardust Secret Crates, and more of those cannot be obtained through paid methods. You can check the detailed drop list for each crate rarity in your backpack, or view the Stardust Secret Crate drop rate notice here:活跃宝箱链接
How to Obtain Stardust Secret Crates
1. Battle Pass: Each season's Battle Pass includes Stardust Secret Crates of different rarities. Raise your Battle Pass level to get them.
2. Daily Battle Pass Exp rewards: Whether you log in or not, you can earn a set number of chances each day to obtain the Rare Stardust Secret Crate. From Monday to Thursday, you get 2 chances per day. From Friday to Sunday, you get 4 chances per day. These reset at 6:00 server time. As long as you have available chances, every 300 Battle Pass Exp earned lets you claim 1 Rare Stardust Secret Crate from the Battle Pass screen. These chances can stack up to 20. Once you have 9 or more available chances, double rewards will activate, letting you claim 2 Rare Stardust Secret Crates for every 300 Battle Pass Exp. This makes it easier to collect them quickly, so do not forget to claim them.
*When a new Battle Pass begins, your available chances will not be cleared. Any unclaimed Rare Stardust Secret Crates will be sent later by mail. Purchasing Battle Pass levels with Crystgin will not increase the number of Stardust Secret Crates you can claim.
3. More ways to obtain them: Additional ways to get Stardust Secret Crates will be added in the future, including event rewards and currency exchange. Please keep an eye on in-game events and system updates.
Tired of the same old terrain? Want to flatten hills and build a grand palace, or establish highlands to create a sky garden? Now, the power to reshape the world is in your hands!
How to obtain it: Go to the Eternaland Shop and purchase the new Terrain Modifier.
Guide
1. Place the Terrain Modifier in the hotbar.
2. Switch to the Terrain Modifier to enter editing mode and transform the island's terrain.
Four Main Functions
Create: Create land out of nothing. Build a mountain with splendid views, or a bridge of earth across a valley. Anything is possible!

Delete: Excavate the terrain. Clear away obstructive landforms or create depressions.

Flatten: Great for perfectionists! Instantly flatten any area to create a perfect foundation for huge structures.

Recover: Made a mistake? Don't worry. Use this function to recover the terrain to its initial state.

Additional Notes:
1. To protect the island's ecosystem and basic structure, water regions and areas near caves currently cannot be terraformed.
2. If you play on mobile, please install the latest app version from the app store to make sure the feature works properly.
Good news for Metas who love nature! To improve the gathering experience for basic wilderness resources, we have added a new class-exclusive formula for Gardeners that is unlocked by default: Gardening Shears.
How It Works:
After crafting Gardening Shears at the crafting bench, you only need to keep them in your backpack for the effect to activate automatically. When gathering from trees and shrubs in the wilderness, your yield will be doubled!
Limitations:
Please note that because Gardening Shears prune more thoroughly, you will no longer get plant seeds while enjoying doubled resource output. If you are in the early stages of base building and need a huge amount of wood and plant fiber, these shears will be an excellent tool for getting started!
*Because of the material adjustments, the types of materials that Gardeners can plant have also changed.
To make combat in RaidZone fairer and more strategic, we have made targeted balance adjustments to the Shrapnel Grenade.
Damage: Explosion damage has been reduced from 120 to 90.
Range: Explosion radius has been reduced from 5 meters to 3 meters.
Visual update: The warning ring shown when throwing a grenade has also been adjusted so it matches the actual blast radius more accurately.
In the dangerous world of RaidZone, territory security is more important than ever!
To help Metas keep track of what is happening at home anytime and anywhere, we have added a new "RaidZone" module to the device desktop widget.
You can now place this module directly on your phone or device home screen. Even when you are not in the game, you can still monitor your territory security in real time and stay one step ahead!
Fixed an issue that allowed building inside the bounds of certain settlements.
1. Disabled settings: Max Uses of Specialization Memory Fragments and Specialized Cleaning Fluid Usage Count.
2. New settings added:
1) Disable microphones in Nearby Channel.
2) Disable Deviations, disable firing weapons, and disable tactical items.
3. Character deletion cooldown on Custom Servers has been reduced to 1 hour.
4. The adjustable upper limit for starting Memetics Points has been increased to 2,000,000.
Available: After the version update on April 8 (PT)
The top three voted returning crates, Ethereal Tide, Abyssal Finale, and Arcane Celestial, are back as scheduled. Beach Bash and Echo Vesperine are also joining the return lineup. You can choose up to three of the five Lightforge Loot Crates to participate in, and there are extra collection challenge rewards as well. Collectors will not want to miss this!
• You can choose up to three crates to participate in. Once you log in, you can choose one right away. Each time you obtain any Lightforge Collection item from a crate, you will receive an extra crate opening chance, up to two additional chances in total. If you have not drawn from or purchased a crate yet, you can still switch your selection without using up an opening chance.
• Spring Vault Collection Challenge: Collect cosmetics from the crates and complete all special collection challenges to earn exclusive rewards, including a Legendary badge and a Cradle Charm that shows off your collector status!
• Returning crate collection progress: Based on how many Lightforge Collection items you have already collected from these crates, you can claim crate-exclusive themes, namecards, and alternate-color Fashion sets. Both new and veteran Metas who have collected Lightforge Collection items can claim these rewards, and doing so does not use any opening chances.
• Returning Lightforge Collection cosmetics now feature rarity-exclusive traits!
- Ethereal Tide now includes the added trait Afterveil, a high-speed burst effect.
• The original draw probability, redemption cost, and guarantee system of each crate remain unchanged. Draw progress from previous runs is retained.
* Attention veteran Metas: If you participated in previous loot crate events but found no records, please log in with the character used for those crates first to trigger inheritance!
* Attention new Metas: The rules for returning crates may differ from the current Lightforge Gem Crates, so please check the individual rules for each crate.

2. Added a quick option that automatically equips or removes the corresponding Fashion Traits when you equip or remove Fashion items.
3. Switching between saved appearance presets no longer costs additional Chrysalis Tokens or Butterfly Dye. Appearance customization costs in the Floor Mirror have now been unified with those in the Appearance interface.
We have noticed that the current description for the "Deviation Selection Crate" in the Visional Shop is not clear enough and has caused confusion for Metas. We sincerely apologize for this misunderstanding.
To clarify, the Deviation level from the selection crate is random. It can be anywhere from Level 1 to the highest possible level, and it does not guarantee Level 3 or above. The phrase "with a chance for Skill Rating of 3 or above" was meant to say that there is a chance to obtain a Lunar Oracle Deviation with a Skill Rating of Level 3 or above. We understand that this wording was easy to misread. We will revise the related text to make the description clearer and more accurate. Thank you for your understanding and support. We will keep improving the game experience for everyone!
You can now use Electric Drills and Explosives underwater.
1. The cost of protection in Pollution Zones will no longer change based on the number of buildings. It will now use a fixed value based on the Pollution Zone level. This means Metas who enjoy building will see much lower protection costs in Pollution Zones.
2. Improved V's guidance in Pollution Zones to reduce its impact on player movement and general gameplay.
Deviation fusion time has been adjusted to 5 minutes.
Improved how the maximum score is displayed in Scenario Honor.
Fixed an issue where 3-star Green blueprints did not grant transformed appearances. For Green blueprints that have already been unlocked and upgraded to 3 stars, the transformed appearances have now been added directly to the appearance system.
Fixed an issue where V's shadow projection displayed incorrectly.
