Sea of Thieves Season 19: Act 2Thursday, April 16th

April’s monthly update lands in just a few weeks, delivering a collection of curated changes, new Deeds and the very first Bilge Rats Weekender! Before we get to that, however, April 16th also marks the official Doubloon reset. On this date, Doubloons already in players’ wallets will be automatically converted – first into any commemorative Doubloon Hoarder cosmetics covered by the amount available, and the rest into gold. Bilge Rats WeekenderThursday, April 16th – Monday, April 20th

Here comes Act 2’s highlight feature and a fresh addition to our Live Events calendar! As the inaugural instalment of this recurring Event, the first Weekender will run a little longer than you might expect, so that everyone has a chance to get involved and find out what’s in store.

Bilge Rats Weekenders are intended to celebrate the pirate life, with regular Firework Displays at the Outposts and a host of Challenges to be completed in return for some of those newly reinvigorated Doubloons. Pirates will also have a chance to tackle time-limited Voyages in search of Bilge Rats Doubloon Crates and Secret Shipment Crates which, if successfully delivered, will be worth a haul of Doubloons in their own right… and maybe other treats. Past Events are also set to feature in Bilge Rats Weekenders, starting with an encore appearance for the Festival of Fishing!

Of course, pirates will need something to spend all those shiny new coins on, and that’s where Larinna and Duke come in. Larinna, relocating inside the tavern for the duration, will offer returning stock from past Seasons in her Bilge Rats Black Market, while the nomadic Duke teases some new wares to be purchased – if players are able to track him down…

Pirate Emporium Solo Styles SaleFriday, April 24th – Wednesday, April 29th

And last but by no means least, the Pirate Emporium’s latest sale is focused entirely on the most important part of the game: you. During the Solo Styles Sale, you’ll be able to get up to 30% off on almost everything in the Pirate tab of the Emporium, including clothing, weapons, equipment and emotes, to ensure that your pirate always looks the absolute best they can be. A suitably striking way to see out the month.

To keep up to date with everything as it happens, drop us a follow on the social media of your choice and maybe sign up for our regular newsletter while you’re here? Otherwise, we’ll see you around the seas and meet up back here next month for another schedule round-up, deal? Deal.
