Hozy is OUT NOW! ????✨
Hello, renovators! We are so absolutely thrilled to be able to share that Hozy is out now! ???? There’s a lot of new things you can look forward to since we released the demo…so let’s take a closer look! Locations (and Interactions!) to Discover ????From a dusty Attic filled with old memories to a childhood dream - the Tree House - and even a charming Cafe, each space in Hozy is as unique as the occupiers you’ll be renovating them for. Whether you’ve always longed to create a cozy art corner or cultivate a hidden oasis of plants, you’ll be able to curate each space the way you want to, at your own pace. Of course, tiny, thoughtful object interactions are part of what has always made Hozy so special, and you’ll have plenty to discover (including a robot vacuum cleaner!), so make sure to tag us with any you come across! Streamlined Unpacking ????We’ve been paying close attention to your feedback from the demo, and we noticed that a more simplified unpacking process was something that a lot of our community wanted, so that you could truly curate the spaces you’re renovating. That’s why we’ve made a few changes to how you’ll unpack furniture from now on; first off, all boxes are clearly labelled, so you have an idea of which items you’ll be finding a space for. However, if you’re still not ready to place the item you just withdrew, don’t worry! There is now no limit on the number of items you can store in the Lost and Found Box, so you can save as many for later as you’d like! Accessibility Features ✨It’s important to us that as many people who want to play Hozy, can, so the development team has been hard at work to create a range of accessibility options and features to help make playing a more seamless experience. These include new colourblind UI settings, the option to choose which completion level a task autocompletes at, and the ability to toggle on or off an action, rather than holding the mouse button. We’ll be keeping a close eye on your feedback for these features, as well as any more that might be requested! Quality of Life Improvements ????Of course, we couldn’t release your new favourite cozy game without adding a couple of additional quality of life improvements! For those who played the demo and playtested the game, you’ll notice a completely reworked camera with wider-angle rotation, making it easier than ever to take a closer look at all those tiny details, rotate to find the perfect place for that vase, and lots more! We’ve also optimized the game for better performance across devices, which should make for a more streamlined experience! That’s everything we’ve got for you today, other than a big thank you to those of you who have supported our cozy game. We truly can’t wait to see your reactions to Hozy now that it’s out in the wild! Don’t forget to share your screenshots with us on Bluesky, Twitter, TikTok, Threads, and Instagram, share your screenshots with #MakeItHozy, or join our Discord to chat all things Hozy and show off your wholesome interiors there!
