How to get the Thorn’s Bite Withersteed mount in ESO
You can't have too many mounts in The Elder Scrolls Online. Developer Zenimax Online Studios brought the stylishly sinister Thorn's Bite Withersteed mount as an event drop for 2026, giving even the most gothic of Vestiges a dilemma. The Thorn's Bite Withersteed launched with the 2026 Jester's Festival just before the official release of season zero: Dawn and Dusk. It will probably stick around for some time, but you may grab this mount for free with some luck in event boxes. Here's how to get it:How to get all parts of the Thorn's Bite Withersteed mount in ESO This is what I imagine Lilith from Diablo 4 would ride into battle. If she didn't have wings, that is. Screenshot by Destructoid As with other ESO event items, you can get the Thorn's Bite Wintersteed piecemeal. Each piece starts dropping during one event and becomes available in the following celebration. Here's how you can get all of its parts:Blooming Saddle: Available in golden Jester's Festival boxes and purchasable from the Impresario with the Anniversary Jubilee.Gilded Stirrups: Drops from Glorious Anniversary Jubilee boxes and appears in the Impresario's stock with Zeal of Zenithar.Withered Antlers: Starts dropping from event boxes during the Zeal of Zenithar event and becomes available from the Impresario with the Witches Festival. In the Anniversary Jubilee, the Blooming Saddle costs 1000 Trade Bars, which is presumably the price point for the next parts. With so many goodies up for grabs in the Gold Coast Bazaar, it's probably best to get a golden box each day and only spend your Trade Bars as a last resort. You can get event crates during the Anniversary Jubilee by completing any daily quest, finishing an incursion event (like the Dolmens in Alik'r Desert), packages from Tales of Tribute and Cyrodiil's Rewards for the Worthy. You can also get them indefinitely by looting world bosses, final bosses from dungeons, trials, and arenas, and from Tho'At Replicanum in Infinite Archive. As usual, there seems to be a five-minute cooldown between each box, so farming dolmens isn't as effective as it may seem at first glance. Though the Roseblood Wings Recall has disappeared (for now), you can still snag the components for the Roseblood Bat pet from the Impresario, with each piece also costing 1,000 Trade Bars.
