How to disarm mines during Locked Gate in ARC Raiders
The Locked Gate event in ARC Raiders has always been a tricky one to manage, and things have now become harder. The Week 21 trials involve disarming several mines when the event is live. This is also a completely new activity introduced as part of the Shrouded Skies update, so let's look at how you can do the needful without blowing yourself up. For starters, I advise rolling in with a free loadout. Things can go wrong quite easily, and this guide will prevent that from happening.How to disarm mines in ARC Raiders For starters, you'll need to wait for the Locked Gate map to appear in rotation. Next, the event exclusively takes place on the Blue Gate map, so this task is certainly very specific. Next, head to any of the following areas.Reinforced ReceptionRaider's RefugeAncient FortPilgrim's Peak All these four places are named POIs, so finding them isn't that difficult. However, I have marked the locations on the image below to make things easier. When you're at a distance, you won't realize which one is active and which one isn't. Hence, press the Ctrl button to crouch and walk slowly. That way, you can get close to the mines without triggering them (and blow them up). Once you're close to a mine, you'll get the prompt to "disarm" it. Interact with the mine (when the prompt is available), and you'll defuse the explosive. Repeat them until you have disabled enough mines for three stars on the task.
