Single-dev project Road to Vostok is now out on PC in early access, and there's a fair number of visual settings you can tweak to get the best possible results. Compared to the earlier versions of the demo, the day-one performance seems much improved. If you are experiencing stutters or lag, here are some settings you could try. Frames: There are options to go 120 or higher, which also includes Unlimited. However, I have opted for 60 FPS as it ensures no lag on my setup.Vsync: Since you can't cap the FPS with VSync on, I have turned it off. You'll lose very little while reducing the load on your hardware. Anti-aliasing: I have opted for the default MSAA 4X, and the performance has been smooth. If you encounter lag, you should disable it to smooth out the load. While the overall performance is pretty smooth, I am expecting a few post-launch patches to improve the gameplay and other parts of Road to Vostok, and there will be new content during early access. Before I deep dive into the settings, here's my current setup and its components.

  • AMD Ryzen 5600G
  • 16 GB of DDR5 RAM
  • 12 GB Nvidia RTX 3060
