American Classics Show Off Their Massive V8s!

Engines are revving and shaking the ground at the Horizon Backstage as four classic muscle cars rumble for your vote this week. Select your favorite pair and vote in-game starting today and until February 5. Team Plymouth is here to show two of their very best and most iconic muscle cars. Up first is a car covered in chrome and with stylish tailfins, the 1958 Plymouth Fury. The Fury comes equipped with a 305hp Golden Commando V8 engine which makes it great at one thing: going fast on a straight line. The second member of the Plymouth squad is the 1968 Plymouth Barracuda Formula-S. Its split front grille and 383 Super Commando V8 engine are two of the most recognizable pieces of muscle car history. The second team entering the bout this week features members from two other classic American brands: Pontiac and AMC. Starting their lineup comes a special version of a car considered part of American heritage and culture: the 1970 Hot Wheels Pontiac Firebird Trans Am Custom. The Winner of the 2020 Hot Wheels Legends Tour features a humongous iron block LSx V8 outputting over 1,000 bhp. Completing this team and this week’s duelists is the 1970 AMC Rebel The Machine. Covered in red, white, and blue, this car could produce 340 horsepower and is coveted as one of the best performing muscle cars ever.
