Even with Marathon, though, it's a race to get some free in-game loot as part of the Twitch Drops campaign. Although the full game is due to launch on March 5, Bungie is letting all players in on a Server Slam weekend where everyone can try out a sampling of the game. Even if you can't or don't want to play the Server Slam, though, you can keep an eye on how the title is looking by watching the game on Twitch and even earning some free drops for in-game items in the process, in case you change your mind and want to visit the deadly planet of Tau Ceti IV.
