Every 100 XP you get will convert to one Merit. This isn't your standard XP. You'll get this event XP by destroying and damaging ARCs. You'll also get XP by helping other players bring down ARCs. Any damage you do to another raider won't reward you with any extra XP for the event. Hence, your priority is to bring down as many ARCs as possible. The bigger ARCs, like the Queen and the Matriarch, will give more rewards. However, you can also gain Merits by damaging and destroying smaller ARCs like the Wasps and Ticks.
