Shelf Labels, Staff Improvements, Recipe Renaming & More | Version 1.0.51 Update
Hey Backyard Chefs!First of all, thank you so much for all the support, patience, bug reports, and feedback you’ve shared with us since launch. Farm to Table is a solo-developed project, and Early Access has only been live for a little over a week. Every report, suggestion, and message you sent over the past week has been incredibly helpful while the game keeps improving step by step.This update focuses heavily on some of the most requested quality-of-life changes, especially shelf labeling, staff clarity, recipe renaming, and mouse invert support.HighlightsShelf crate labels are here!You can now label shelf crates and control them with lock, unlock, and reset options.This should make storage much easier to organize, especially for players who have been struggling with farmers placing ingredients in unexpected spots. Shelf organization has been one of the most requested improvements, so we’re really happy to start improving this part of the game.Staff can now explain what they are waiting forStaff members now show wait reasons when something blocks their work.They can explain if they are waiting because of things like:Missing assignmentsMissing shelf spaceMissing ingredientsUnreachable targetsBlocked stationsWe also added warning indicators for staff blockers that the player can fix. Staff members now show wait reasons when something blocks their work.
