Berlin is crumbling under the thunder of artillery, while smoke rises above the burning Reichstag. In the edge of the final battles, you are about to enter a relentless fight. Try yourself in the role of a Red Army soldier or a Wehrmacht trooper: capture positions, wear down the enemy, call in reinforcements, and bring heavy artillery down on their heads.
To participate in the event: Open the ESC menu, select Assault on the Reichstag from the top panel, and click Join game.

The event will be available from May 6 to June 3.
At the start of each match, you will be randomly assigned to one of two sides: attacking Red Army or defending Wehrmacht. Regardless of your side, you can choose from 4 classes:
Assaulter
Scout
Engineer
Machine Gunner
Each class comes with a base loadout: weapons, ammo, medical supplies, gadgets, and tactical support. Both sides have identical sets of gadgets and air support, except for the Scout class.

The assault consists of four stages:
Capture 1st sector — point A
Capture 2nd sector — points B, C
Capture 3d sector — points D, E
Capture the Reichstag — point F
The Red Army’s objective is to capture all points using a limited number of team respawns. The Wehrmacht’s objective is to stop them and deplete their respawns to zero.

Defenders can recapture points unless the entire sector has been taken. Once a sector is fully captured, defenders have 30 seconds to retreat before the next sector opens.
Infantry isn’t the only threat — heavy vehicles are present on the battlefield.
Ally vehicles can be repaired, but enemy tanks are extremely dangerous — better stay away from them. Use anti-tank weapons scattered across the map and don’t forget to call in tactical support.

Some environmental objects, such as windows and walls, can be destroyed.

Each class has unique abilities called Gadgets:
Medkit — an Assaulter class gadget. When deployed, it grants health regeneration to all players within a certain radius;
Sandbags — an Engineer class gadget that allows you to construct small but highly effective defensive structures;
Ammo Crate — a Machine Gunner class gadget is used to replenish consumables such as ammo and medicine;
Rally Point and Trip Wire Mine — Scout class gadgets. Rally Point creates a new spawn location for your squad, but keep in mind that respawns are limited. Trip Wire Mine is used to defend against advancing enemies.
Rally Point is available only to Red Army Scouts;
Trip Wire Mine is available only to Wehrmacht Scouts.
Each class has access to tactical support. To call it in, you need to accumulate enough tactical support points, equip the flare gun \[X], enter the required combination, and select a target area for the strike.

In addition to levelling up classes, free XP can be spent on purchasing personal crates.

Crates contain consumables (spare parts, tools, batteries, and etc.), paints, commemorative gear with modules, Hideout items, and, most importantly, equipment parts, including the Master-rank sniper rifle PzB 38!
Following weapons can be obtained using parts and a number of barter recourses:
PzB 38

STG-44

Bren

MG 34

You can also find motifs for the FN F2000 TACTICAL and AA-12 in these crates.

All items in the crates, including weapon parts, are temporarily bound. Once the event has ended on June 3, items can be transferred to other players or sold.

Silver is an incredibly valuable currency that you receive at the end of a match. The amount of Silver you receive depends on your contribution to the victory during the battle.
With a Silver, you can purchase the boxes and their contents separately as individual items. You can also treat yourself with the Scars of War Hideout style here.
Assault on the Reichstag is an event based on session battles. So, in addition to everything listed above, you’ll also gain Session Battle XP and Battle Tokens for Spartak. However, the results of this event do not affect your session battle statistics in any way.
The main room of the Hideout was updated, and large windows facing the outside were added.

A new cosmetic system called Hideout Style is now available in the game, which changes the visual style, sound effects, and adds unique events.
The first Scars of War thematic style was added, bound to the Assault on the Reichstag event.
The Scars of War style includes:
Visual changes: burned-out tanks and an abandoned battlefield outside the window, ash in the air, and gloomy weather.
Sound effects: the distant sound of battle in the background.
Random events: recurrent artillery shelling, walls shaking, dust, and the sound of warning sirens.
Animation: airplanes flying over the Hideout's window.
Manual start of events: You can start events within your Hideout manually by clicking the button on the central screen.

Scars of War can be obtained by earning Silver in the Assault on the Reichstag game mode or from the Aesthete’s Tank Case.
Scars of War obtained for Silver style is bound, while ones obtained from cases are tradeable.
First, you need to obtain the Hideout style, and then select it in the Laptop's interface.

New artefacts appear in the Zone: Link and Flicker. While scientists are still busy studying and collecting data, daring stalkers are already putting the Zone’s latest gifts to the test.
You can find them in the open world after eruptions, available until June 3.
Want to upgrade your build? Wait for the eruption and grab detectors while the Zone is generous with gifts.

A new signal type has been added — Tangled signal, available for searching starting from the North.
Tangled signal creates several markers at once when detected.
Only at one of the Tangled signal points can appear either a Signal Dungeon or a bag with a tracker as a reward.
Removed artefacts as a possible reward from signals on South;
Added Anomalous Dust as a possible reward from signals on North;
Added data blocks as a possible reward from Signal Dungeons.
Added a new major barter item — Relay Stations. A Relay Station has a small chance to drop from signals, granting trackers.
Relay Stations work by analogy to Data Blocks, allowing you to transform them in 20 trackers of corresponding type.

An example of Relay Station
Adjusted the contents and drop rates of items in stashes at the following locations: Serpentine, Black Detour, Mines, Institute, Forge-11, Barrier, Reflection, Inflow, Temple Swamp, Labyrinth, Lyubech-3, Stillwaters, Uranus Mill, and Red Forest.
Adjusted stash loot value to better match the location difficulty.
Improved faction crate contents — updated the item pool, their quantity, and drop rates.
The average value of faction crates has been increased.
All items that were sold for Act Tickets and located in the Gear tab are now available in the separate Act Tickets shop tab. Act Tickets items have also been removed from the Other tab.
The Act Tickets shop can now only be accessed through the season pass window, by pressing the Act Tickets button in the top‑right corner, in the currency section.

In any battle, you can obtain trophies that keep the memory of your heroic deeds. This bundle includes Assault on the Reichstag event cases, from which you can obtain various Hideout decoration items, weapon blueprints from the event, and consumables.
Some things reveal more about a soldier than his weapon ever could.

Ever dreamed of getting your own tank? We’ve got something even better — Tanker! With him, the hangar of steel hunters is just a stone’s throw away… if you get what we mean.

Did you feel the atmosphere of the intense assault? Transform your profile with two themed designs inspired by heavy machinery and the relentless assault on the Reichstag.

Terentiy sends his regards! The first personality has been added to the game — a new character customization element with its own unique traits.

Terentiy has his own voice — a unique set of phrases in the quick‑command wheel, plus a short story about his life, which he will gladly tell… if he can recall it.
The base price of the Back to the Inside Out season’s styles and motifs has been adjusted. They are now available for sale in a transferable version, and a discount has been added to their purchase until the end of the season.

Following the discovery of a critical vulnerability that allowed players to complete Operation Focus by unfair means, it has been removed from the current Operations ranking season. Changes to the Operation itself will be introduced in future updates.

A new security feature for your account — Security Code.
This is an extra layer of security that will help protect your property even if a hacker gains access to your account.
You can enable the security feature in the settings in the Security tab.

There are two types of security to choose: Passcode and Authenticator Code.

Passcode — a static 6-digit sequence

Code from the authenticator app

The code is requested in two situations, depending on the settings:

When you enter the game from the character selection menu, if the “Require code on login” option has been enabled in the game settings.
The first action that could harm the player character if a hacker gains access to it.
Actions that may harm your character if accessed by a scammer include:
trading with other players;
interacting with the auction;
using in-game mail;
selling items to the season vendor;
any actions involving artefacts and other valuable items;
any actions involving subdivision;
attempting to leave a faction;
trading operations with the gear merchant.
You only need to enter the security code once per gaming session.

Please note: once you disable this setting, the protection will remain active for a further 14 days.
To change the code type, you need to completely disable the current option.
Reduced player count requirements for all session-based maps on global servers.
The changes are region-based and may vary depending on the server.
For example, to start Prison you need:
RU: 12 players
EU: 8 players
NA, SEA, NEA: 6 players
For NA, SEA, NEA regions: temporarily removed no shotguns Moria House version from the session map pool.
Added a new screen mode: “Borderless Window” or compatibility mode. In this mode, Windows optimisations for full-screen mode are disabled. This may help with compatibility issues with HDR monitors or with “screen tearing”.
Increased priority for the mini-map radar sound when players appear nearby. It shouldn’t be lost in the mix of other sounds anymore.
Most weapon LODs have been updated — the models rendered at low levels of detail and from a distance.
Added a separate setting to adjust the volume of the record player.
Added new sound setting — anomaly alerts.
The setting can be found in the sound settings tab.

The closer the player is to the anomaly, the higher the pitch of the sound produced.
If this setting is disabled, the player will not hear an audio notification when near an anomaly.
Added the ability to toggle the setting using “;” hotkey.
You can find the hotkey setting in the sound settings tab, next to the sound notification setting.
The setting can be found in the Sound settings tab.
Fixed an issue where the size of the smoke grenade cloud would change when adjusting the graphics settings.
Fixed the “Primary mouse button” toggle in Windows settings (option for left-handed users).
