It's Game Time - NBA THE RUN is Live
Launch Day…. We’re here. We did it. I can’t believe it. Today, on June 9th 2026 we launch NBA THE RUN on PS5 | Xbox | PC at 11:00 AM (PST). With an 18 person team at Play by Play, we built this game from the ground up with heart, grit and determination. Our aim has always been simple – bring people together through the love of sport, and do it in our own style. We wanted to create a game that looks, feels and plays like nothing else on the market. A game that takes us back to some of the greats before us and also sets the foundation for what we believe is the future of sports games. We’ve got big shoes to fill and we have never taken that lightly. This team put everything we have into this game. We’ve worked through it all – ups and downs, times of doubt, no one believing in us, and the list goes on…. We took all of that and we used it as motivation to make the greatest game we possibly could, and I think we delivered. To be clear, we didn’t do this alone. We had countless advisors, partners, friends & family, fellow game developers and a growing community behind us throughout development. We relied on you all for your guidance, your support and your feedback – you helped us get here. With that, I can simply say – Thank You, to everyone who had a hand in creating this game. We’ve been saying for years that We’ve Got Next, and I believe we do. Come Run with us, this is just the beginning, it’s Game Time. SP
